You now have the surrounding land displayed, but without islands......

Now do exactly the same and import the island shapefile.......

RM does not (yet) create shorelines for the land, Garmin needs shorelines, so select all the "land" objects.........

Now copy them onto the clipboard......

then convert them to shorelines.......

and finally paste the land back from the clipboard

Now to import the isobaths. File - import - ESRI shp.
Now select the isobath file created by RM. In the next dialogue box select "from field", and select the "type" column. This will assign a different shade of blue to each of the first 5 depth graduations, and white to the remainder (deep water).
