Pilot Charts. An early product of the surveying so far has been the creation of Pilot Charts for Lough Ree. These are being produced steadily as the lake is surveyed, and new areas "opened up" to leisure cruisers that have been more used to plodding along the buoyed routes across the lake.
The charts are still a work in progress - but very informative and useable nonetheless. They also serve as an indication of the completeness of the datasets we are building.

It is hoped that an Angling Chart of Ree, to the same level of detail, will be possible in the near future, something which will make the lake safer, as well as far more interesting.
